Happy Lunar Landing Day, everyone.
This day has always had a special significance to me. I remember being fascinated by the lunar landing as far back as first grade. What I don't recall is how or when I first learned of it. I wasn't around for the event obviously since I was born three years later to the day of that historic event. It may have been my father, he was very interested in space travel and the possibilities the future held.
It's funny how memory day works. For my mother, an accountant, the day was tax day or something.

Jul. 21st, 2008 06:11 pmI know nobody gives a damn but Sunday was my birthday. Not surprisingly I got nary an email, phone call, IM, or card. Eh, well. That's life I guess, forgotten and alone.
