Arthritis has really been acting up lately. Particularly in my lower back and the middle finger of my right hand. Some mornings it can be a real struggle getting out of bed in the morning. The lower back pain this past week has brought back some memories. I had a nasty tumble down a steep hill when I was 11 and bruised my tail bone. It was awful. I couldn't walk for a couple weeks for the pain. The arthritis pain of the past few days has approached that level of pain sufficiently to remind me of that incident so many years ago thus affirming that the things of childhood do stay with us into our adult years and likely into old age.
