Power still out...

teyrnonThe power is still out. The power company's website is down so I can neither report it nor check the status of my street. From what I can tell from the window my street is dark but the next streets over in the three directions I can observe still have power. The lack of electricity puts a damper on my plans for the evening. I guess I could try reading my Kindle by flashlight. Should look into getting a small battery powered reading lamp.
The power has been out over an hour now. Their website is still down. The sun has gone down so things are even darker now.
Edit to add: From what I can tell power was finally restored at 1:15AM. So, I was without power for around five and a half hours. The UPS keeping the internet and wifi alive lasted for about eighty minutes. In the one and a half years I've been running with that particular setup this is the first time a power outage has lasted long enough to drain that particular UPS.
